In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Strong location for exploring — Wenceslas Square is about 15 minutes on foot, and Charles Bridge is roughly 25 minutes away, so most sights are accessible without public transport.
  • Good value for the price — Guests consistently note that the balance of price, room size, and breakfast makes it a sensible choice for short stays.
  • Spacious, comfortable rooms — Several reviewers highlight large rooms and bathrooms, with comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi.
  • Satisfying on-site breakfast — The café serves a decent breakfast spread – rolls, bread, cereals, eggs – that reviewers find good for the price.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Room cleanliness rated lower — The 'Rooms and cleanliness' category scores a 6 out of 10, suggesting some variability in housekeeping.
  • Narrow parking access — Off-street parking exists but the entrance is very tight – one guest with a station wagon had to fold in mirrors to get through.
  • No pets allowed — If you travel with a dog or cat, this property won't work – the policy is strictly no pets.
  • Breakfast is simple — While good value, the spread is standard – one guest noted it's 'nothing special'.

“Good experience – patient staff, perfect accommodation. Nice garden, well-equipped room with double beds and shared bathroom plus sloping ceiling. Great breakfast in the café, easy check-in and out, parking across the street. Magnificent location for visiting cafés and restaurants.”

8.4Verified guest

“Rooms are big and very comfortable, and the hotel is close to the city centre.”

8.4Verified guest

“Very spacious room and big bathroom. Breakfast (rolls, bread, hot and cold drinks, cereals, eggs) was good for the price, though nothing special. Location is amazingly close to the centre, with a grocery around the corner, banks, Botanical Gardens, and two metro stations – easy access to all three lines.”

8.4Verified guest

“The restaurant was good for breakfast – we ordered delicious dishes. Excellent location near Tesco Express, with restaurants and bars nearby.”

8.4Verified guest

“Staff were very helpful and friendly. Off-street parking is available but the driveway is very narrow – we had to fold in the mirrors on our Renault Laguna estate and it was still extremely tight. Worth it for the safe parking, though. Breakfast available on site. A triple was a little tight with 3 adults and 2 baby beds, but our younger daughter slept in a small hallway where it was dark and quiet.”

“Excellent value for money – couldn't ask for more at the price. Fantastic breakfast, would highly recommend for a nice room for a few nights.”
